Nanoparticles interaction with nucleic acids

Project Summary

Along with the different experimental projects carried out during my Ph.D. thesis, I also completed this bibliographical work, publishing a complete review in a Q1 journal. In this article, I discussed about the most relevant interactions that different nanomaterials presented with nucleic acids in a cellular environment.

In this work, it was essential to:

- Read and understand the most relevant works in the field, drawing and synthesizing the most relevant information.

- Establish relationships and connections between the drawn information, leading to uncovering meaningful insights of high relevance.

- Discuss and justify different points of view and evidences observed in the wide range of articles studied, enriching the quality of this work

- Organize this information under a storyline that facilitated its understanding and evidenced the main drawn conclusions of the review.

The completion of this work allowed me to develop and strenghten several skills, such as drawing and synthesizing relevant insights from scientific documents, generation of scientific evidence, management of parallel projects and effective wrtitten scientific communication.
